No because it relies in the gravity force that your object places on the pad. Water creates a thin film that allows a hydroplaning to occur.
If the object is already placed on the pad then it will work as long as the object stays in place.
Can I leave BIXSTIX in the hot sun?
Yes, it will not get damaged or cause any residue on the surface but we recommend that you take it off, wash it and store it indoors for the next use.
If I leave it on my car dashboard, will it damage the dashboard?
No but in extreme heat it may change shape a bit due to expansion.
How can I clean it?
BIXSTIX will attract dirt and dust, when its dirty simply clean in under running water, throw it in a dishwasher, or wash off with soap and let it dry.
It does not work as well when it’s dirty.
Can I put hot items on BIXSTIX?
Do not subject BIXSTIX to temperatures greater than 149F or 65C.
